2. Terms of Service

1. Overview
By accessing the Site or purchasing from us you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site.

2. Our products

• All items are vintage or antique; minor wear is intrinsic to their charm. Descriptions and photographs aim for accuracy but slight colour variance may occur.

• Dimensions are approximate; please measure access routes before ordering large furniture.

3. Prices & payment
Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include UK VAT unless stated. You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the full amount including shipping and duties (where applicable).

4. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy; receipt confirmation e-mail is not acceptance. A contract forms when we dispatch goods and send a shipping confirmation.

5. Delivery
See Shipping Policy. Risk passes on delivery; title passes once paid in full.

6. Returns
See Returns Policy. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

7. Intellectual property
All site content is owned by or licensed to Colour Of Vintage. You may not reproduce it without written permission.

8. Liability
Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Otherwise, our liability for any loss arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid for the relevant order.

9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by English law; disputes will be resolved exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.

3. Returns & Refunds Policy

Your right to change your mind

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations you may cancel and return most online purchases within 14 days of delivery. Notify us at [returns@colourofvintage.com]; then return the item within 14 days of approval.

Eligibility

• Item must be in the same condition you received it, unused, with any original packaging.

• Excluded: bespoke-refinished pieces, gift cards, items marked “Final Sale”.

Return shipping & refunds

• Buyer pays return shipping unless the item is defective or we shipped the wrong product.

• Use a tracked service and insure high-value items; we are not liable for returns lost in transit.

• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 working days of inspection.

Damaged or incorrect items

Inspect deliveries promptly. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, e-mail photos to [care@colourofvintage.com] within 48 hours so we can arrange a replacement, repair or refund.

4. Shipping Policy

Processing time

• Small décor pieces: 1–3 business days

• Large furniture: 5–7 business days (white-glove delivery may add lead-time)

Shipping rates & areas

Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination. We ship:

• UK mainland – standard or expedited courier

• Northern Ireland, Highlands, Islands – surcharge may apply

• International – most countries via DHL or UPS; customs duties/taxes are buyer’s responsibility

Tracking & delivery

You’ll receive a tracking link once dispatched. Large items require an adult’s signature and ground-floor delivery unless otherwise arranged.

Lost or delayed parcels

Let us know if tracking shows no movement for 7 days (UK) or 14 days (international). We will open an investigation with the carrier.
